Regarding the raffle; 

  The winners will be chosen 100% randomly (using random.org) , so what you write in the comment has no impact on your chances! 
 The "Christmassy" deviation doesn't have to be your Christmas deviation, it can be any deviation!  Just to get some Christmas spirit in the comments section

Hello, December!   It is Advent time once again, and soon Christmas! Although it doesn't feel very Christmassy here yet - no snow (yet) and somewhat mild temperatures for Norway! It is dark, though  

I really miss making Advent calendars for my watchers here on deviantArt, but sadly, I don't have the time or energy this year. Just finished one commission, and working on another one now! It is going to be a Christmas present for the commissioner's girlfriend, so I have to finish it in good time before the 24th.    

Here is the calendar from 2016, for those of you interested! I just realized I STILL haven't published Door 22 ...   



Ooh btw, in an hour, the Rastakhan's Rumble expansion is released for Hearthstone! So excited! And December 7th, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Switch is released! Even more excited! I've already purchased the Fighter's Pass version digitally, so I'm all ready!

Hey, lads and lasses! Almost halfway through October already.  I don't know how it is where you live, but here in mid-Norway the trees have turned very orange! I love autumn - cozy, dark nights with blankets, candles and drawing! _{And cats ofc}

Anyway, what I really came to ask about is: how is it going with your Inktober this year?  

I have managed to make one drawing every day so far! Or, some of the days I didn't, but then I caught up the next day(s). I am actually à jour now! 





In my opinion, Inktober is about stepping out of one's comfort zone and disrupting the "art autopilot" - challenging oneself to draw every day following a pre-defined prompt list, posting the result for the public to see whether or not you're 100% happy with it. It is quite scary at times, really!

Some of the drawings I'm fairly happy with, and some really not - but at least I drew! And that's the whole point, right?

I try to reserve my deviantART gallery for my more "decent" and polished works, so if you want to follow my Inktober-mess for the rest of the month, you need to check out my art instagram!

I have been awful at drawing lately! Or at least, awful at actually starting to draw. Been very tired and mostly slept after work.  


However, in a couple of days I'm going to Rhodes (Greece) for a week - maybe that will reignite the drawing-spark!   :bademoticon:  


I will miss my cats, Cosmos and Midna, so much, though D: I really dislike leaving them, and get really paranoid and imagine all the worst-case scenarios that can happen to them when I'm away. "What if there's a fire? What if they become acutely ill? What if they start fighting and injure each other? What if they choke on their food? What if they break a vase and cut themselves on it? What if they think I've abandoned them forever? What if they grow opposable thumbs and open the windows and escape?" However, I have several neighbors with cats that are going to feed them several times a day, so rationally, I know they're in good hands.
